Open - This type of card can be spent virtually anywhere American Express Cards are welcome, so redemption options are unlimited.

Theme - These cards can be spent at merchant groups we've pre-selected for you. Favorites for this type of card include: dining, fuel, shopping, and travel.

Custom - You select a set of merchants where the card can be spent. This type of card gives you maximum creativity and control.
